In a July 24, 2023 press conference, St. Mary’s Dining Room announced that a collaborative funding effort of $16 million from the City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, Health Plan San Joaquin and Dignity Health has propelled the new Pathways temporary shelter unit project forward with an anticipated opening at the end of 2024. The 300 individual one- and two-bedroom units will close the gap on the number of unsheltered individuals in Stockton.
