The 12th annual Christmas in July Shoe Drive was Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Hundreds of new shoes were donated by the community for needy men, women and children.
St. Mary’s Dining Room is pleased to have partnered once again with local podiatrist Dr. Craig Garfolo for the Christmas in July Shoe Drive.
Thank you to the students of Presentation Parish School for your donation of $900 from the “Pie in the Face Fundraiser!” And a special thank you to the staff, including school principal Maria Amen, below, for your encouragement. As extra incentive, the teachers for the three classrooms raising the most money, Joyce Teixeira, Francine Simmons and Robin Moore, along with Principal Amen and Msgr. Larry McGovern all took a pie in the face in front of the entire school and cheering onlookers.
